Fuel their fire
If you haven’t had the best start in life, or if you’re struggling with school, the future can be at best something you don’t want to think about. And at its worst, it can be something that's downright scary. And if you don’t know what’s possible or you have low self esteem, it’s easy to disengage with school and what you might be when you grow up.
Fujitsu wanted to change that perception. Give every kid, regardless of background or ability, the chance to dream. We introduced them to people who are just like them. People who had been there, done that and got the t-shirt. People that are now smashing it as rollercoaster ride designers. Yes they're real jobs!
STEM – that’s science, technology, engineering and maths
Insight into the attitudes of school kids found that interest in science, technology, engineering and maths based subjects is waning. And the problem is worse for those who come from difficult backgrounds, ethnic minorities or those with learning difficulties. We created a brand around the idea of showing The Weird & Wonderful World of Work in new and exciting ways.

The weird and wonderful world of work
We created a playful brand that leant heavily into showing some of the incredible things that careers related to STEM could be. Designing trainers. Yep. Test computer games. Yep. Analyse football. You bet. Monster hunter. Absolutely.
Gamify to engage
By integrating gamification with video storytelling, PLUs is changing the way STEM subjects are thought about and opening kids’ eyes up to a brighter future that could be theirs. People Like Us featured 10 people who despite tough upbringings or adversity had achieved amazing things with their amazing jobs.
A visual language for kids
Bright, bold colours, energetic words, familiar language, digital stickers, animations, GIFS, blooper reels, mobile orientated content. People Like Us was intentionally created to excite the mind and stimulate conversation with other kids, parents and careers advisors.

Gracias
